How would you describe your style?

My style is best known for seamlessly layering vintage and contemporary pieces with bespoke finishes, custom furniture design and timeless interiors. Each project and design is unique, as I have a thirst for new challenges and the desire to push the boundaries. The ever-changing world of design fascinates me, in addition to being extremely dedicated to creating highly customised interiors for all of my clients.

“Savoir is the ultimate in what they do and we are aligned in our dedication to high quality luxury design.”

Tell us about your colour palette.

My colour palette truly depends on the project and the setting at hand. I embrace colour with excitement and confidence as it can define a space with character and personality. My personal go-to colour is Oxblood. I am constantly enticed by the dramatic and powerful, yet grounding feelings it provokes within me.

Do you have a favourite fabric?

My latest obsession is with mohair and soft boucles. Due to this, it is the fabric I chose to have on my bed design. Texture is central to my design, whether I am using all neutrals or layering colours. It visually encapsulates the balance of elegance and warmth in a space.

“I think the combination of defined lines with the texture of the mohair is a really alluring marriage of design elements that are in perfect balance.”

How important is the bed when you are designing a bedroom?

The bed is the focal point. I therefore always start here and design the rest of the room around it. It’s sacred and personal, it is your sanctuary where you go to rest, meditate, rejuvenate, and make yourself whole again. It is where you spend a good portion of your time at home. You may not sit on the sofa or at your dining table every day, but you are always in your bed.

What was your design inspiration for the bed?

The inspiration for STELLA comes from one of my favourite American artists, Frank Stella. His work utilises the formal properties of shape, colour and composition, with a focus on abstract geometric patterns.

Why did you choose the Teddy Mohair fabric?

It is pure luxury. I wanted to select something for the bed that was soft and romantic and incredibly sexy and inviting. I think the combination of the defined lines with the texture of the mohair is a really alluring marriage of design elements that are in perfect balance.

What was the most exciting part of the collaboration?

Being in the Bedworks in London with the artisans who handcraft these incredible beds on a daily basis was inspiring. Their skill and passion for what they do blew me away and really gives new meaning to handmade, bespoke quality products. It is what sets Savoir far apart from the others.

Why collaborate with Savoir?

I only partner with brands that I use myself. Whose design aesthetic and quality matches my personal taste and standards. Savoir is the ultimate in what they do and we are aligned in our dedication to high quality luxury design.”
