And once selected, those fibres are then mercerised — a technique that creates softer bedding with a signature sheen. Because of their strength and quality, they will always retain their inherent glow, shimmering at even the smallest hint of candlelight.

The Trellis
Jacquard bed linens

Exclusively developed for Savoir, our Italian jacquard features our trademark Trellis ticking, imagined over a century ago by Lady D’Oyly Carte. Specially yarn-dyed, this range is then woven on an extra wide loom in Italy's oldest mill, resulting in a single, diaphanous linen without joints or seams. Finally, it is brought to England to be expertly hand cut one piece at a time, then sewn by master seamstresses. With a gentle drape, its subtle lustre catches the light each time it falls, showcasing those signature Trellis markings.

Embroidery Details

Bring an extra note of craftsmanship to your bed linen by adding an expertly embroidered double cording to your pillowcases, flat sheets and duvet covers – complete with perfectly mitred corners of course. Cording is available in white or a combination of silver and charcoal.
