Our craftspeople create custom mattresses and beds tailored to any specification, for a truly comfortable night's sleep. Handmade in England and Wales using only the finest natural materials and traditional techniques, every bed is made to order.

Custom & Bespoke

We handcraft mattresses, toppers, bases and headboards, tailored to your requirements. Mattresses can be made to fit existing bed frames and berths of different shapes and sizes, including rounded corners, cut outs, and curves. On special request, a member of the team will visit the yacht to measure and create a custom template for the bed.

The finest natural materials

All Savoir mattresses, toppers and bases are handcrafted using superior natural materials. Horse tail, wool, and cotton are breathable and help to support temperature regulation. Special galvanized springs can also be used in the bed base, to ensure there is no corrosion risk should humidity levels vary on board.

Beautifully crafted on board

We offer zip and link mattresses and split bases to make access and installation easier. These can also be turned and flipped more easily, which extends the life of the mattress.

For the ultimate bespoke experience, Savoir craftspeople can even make mattresses and toppers on-site.

The finishing touches

To provide the best sleep hygiene while at sea, the stretch cotton casing on our beds can be finished with anti-bug protection. We also offer a selection of weather-resistant fabrics for upholstery.
